I see your eyes

dart across the room at me

I know you're watching

though you look away

I make my way toward you

I know you're blushing

to see me stare

takes your breath away

we are a couple from the past

back in our high school days

you couldn't resist me then

how will you resist me now?

all I ask is a dance

you get stares for your hesitation

let me have this one last dance

you hold me close

your heart beats wildly out of your chest

memories flood my mind

of the first time we met

of our first kiss

these images haunt my mind

they will not go away until I hear three words
